Wonderful

Decided to blog today because yesterday was so exciting that I really must blog about it today to share with all of you my excitement XD (WARNING:long post and lots of pictures)
Yesterday was my Love Live Wonderful Rush photoshoot with all my group members.This is the first time I ever had a full team for my photoshoots despite cosing for quite a while already.That is because when it come to group shoots it either never happen or it is supposed to be a full team but on the day itself at least one member cannot make it so we had to shoot with the lack of members,therefore at the same time I was also quite worried the few days before.I also expected myself to be unable to sleep due to excitement the night before.Yes I was excited but I still slept because these few days due to school I had been very tired.(sleep late and wake up early)
Woke up at 6am to do makeup and prepare as we were supposed to meet at 9am at Bayfront MRT.I sound like an asshole but I always try to be late like 30 minutes when it comes to meeting groups because people tend to not be punctual during meetings,once I arrived for a meeting on the exact time and ended up have to wait for 1 hour for everyone to come.However it turns up that other than 3 members who had something on prior to the shoot,the rest had reached before me.
After we met at Bayfront MRT,the photographers led us to a secret yet banned spot in MBS to change at the toilet there.Since I had already done my makeup at home,I just need to change into my costume and wig and was already ready when the rest are still doing makeup.(My hat take the longest time to put on as I must clip them on my base wig yet at the same time must make my hair balls and ribbon obvious)
While my team members were getting ready,I decided to spam selfies of myself.(with some unglams one)

Apparently a chef working at MBS went into a toilet and had a long chat with us.

Was very satisfied with my overall look for today,no matter makeup or wig.I guess this makeup style suits Nico the most after all.thin lashes+partial lower lashes,which is different from how I usually wear my lashes for cosplay.(thick lashes+full lower lashes)Maybe is because Nico is supposed to look cute and simple yet abit glamorous as a school idol.(thus I apply two colours for blusher,one is a lighter shade of pink whereas the other is a darker shade of pink)

Also thanks to the photographers(David,Zhenwei,Yuxiang,Decky,though only take a selfie with david and zhenwei) for shooting with us.xin ku le especially zhenwei who risk falling into the water for capturing a nice shot for us.plus the pictures are very nice as well <3 thanks to the skws(pinyang,kayleigh and audina) for fanning us and buying gongcha for us.

Cosfest 2014

This blog was about to be another one of my abandoned blog when I remembered I left my blog URL at my coscard,thus I must make it a point to update it.Maybe putting blog URLs on my coscard will motivate me to update more?
I was about to backtrack alot of things that happened within the past few months like my Korea trip and various cosplay events but nahh,since I will waste time backtracking might as well as write current stuffs.
Last weekend was the annual Cosfest cosplay event in Singapore and supposingly the last one held at Downtown East.I feel abit sad when I heard it would be the last time cosfest will be held at Downtown East as I had been attending this event for 5 times(4 times as a cosplayer) and the entire feel will be different if it is not at Downtown East.
Every year cosfest my costumes and characters always had a form of similarity.
2010:black costumes with weapons and swords(Chrome/Squalo and Hinamori)
2011:zettai ryouiki and long wigs(World is Mine Miku and Konata Haruhi fusion)
2012-mahou shoujou with panniers(Homura and Cardcaptor Sakura)
2013-sleeveless with sleeves on arms(Setsugetsuka Luka and Stellar Loussier)

Day 1 marks my first group cosplay at cosfest.(Actually last year day 1 my setsugetsuka is also a group cosplay but I only go to the event for a few minutes as I need to rush for SS5 Singapore)After this experience,I know why most cosplayers think solo is better.

Our group members were preparing seperately and when one is ready the other one is not ready yet.Plus the fact that two of our members have to participate in Cosfest Running Man thus majority of the time we were seperated.However we were always in a group whenever people wanted a picture of us.

Cosplayed as Cagalli princess version again at day 2.Cagalli is the character that I had the highest expectation for cosplaying because I must make sure I look perfect when I am cosplaying my favourite princess.

Day 2 was as fun as Day 1 because there were a group of cosplayers cosplaying Gundam Seed.However there was someone who was short and ugly who cosplayed as Athrun(oops!) so I decided and luckily not to go near him or let him see me.
Overall I can never forget about how fun cosfest is.Thanks to those who had helped me alot throughout the event.Looking forward to meet all of you again at the next event.
